WGC (World Golf Cup) is a brand new ranking system being rolled out for the new PGA TOUR 2K21 coming August 21.. Details on how the new ranking system works are as follows below.

How the WGC ranking system works: The member will earn points per event completed from all societies being hosted on this site. But i thought we are doing this on the site anyway? True we have been doing a points collection but doing it per society and per tour per season. But now we will be adding the points up for all total societies combined as a whole running the points system as a "PGA" regulation points earnings that will consist of the 4 categories.
(see below how the ranking system payouts will work).
1)  Casual
2)  PGA Event
3)  PGA Major
4)  WGC Championships

To determine each week which of the 4 categories will be held per society will be up to the society Admin but simple rule of thought will be IF the Admin sets the schedule on the site as a PGA Event OR PGA Major the Admin MUST select the exact course or very similar course for those events if not the event will have to fall under the Casual category point format. We are not trying to control the societies in anyway but trying to come up with a fair and honest system. Some societies do not follow the PGA schedule some follow a few times a year this is just fine we are just asking to select the appropriate point system for the event.

As for the WGC Championships this will be selected for the last event of the society season. The points are a little more that a player can earn toward the players total. At the end of all of the societies season which should conclude at the same time a victor will be declared. All societies will run the same amount of events per season which the current number is 24. So essentially you can have 2 WGC winners in a calendar year. Also at the end of each season all WGC points will reset and all start out with 0 points.

The old point system will still be used to determine the winner after the end of a society/tour season. Speaking of Tour do not get mixed up between Society and tour. Tours on this site are: The Steam Masters, The Caddy`s tour and The Alt Mesh Up. These tours will NOT earn points toward the WGC rankings ONLY the societies will.(see below for current Societies on site. Adding more societies

We are looking to add more societies we say more the merrier because we recognize that many players play many different societies and a lot of players do not think 1 web site should determine who the best of the best is in the world. By playing multiple societies and their ever changing playing conditions each event and using the WGC forumal we can accuratly name World best golfer.

We are looking for dedicated society Admins that can full fill what we are looking for:
1)  Read and understand the WGC format
2)  Read and understand directions on this site when creating scheduled events
3)  Looking for society Admins to have a good showing so we are asking no less then an average of 25 players playing per event in their society.
4)  Looking for societies that play either 2 OR 4 rounds PER week per a 24 week season

How to participate in WGC

1)  Register on this site with the EXACT Golfer name you play in game with. It will not be the site Admins fault for any errors in this so please make sure it is EXACT.
2)  You need to have the current version of the game PGA Tour 2K21.
3)  Join 1 of the societies in game that we are hosting their events for and play their scheduled events. You can belong to 1 of the societies that we host for or all of them. Each society has different rules and policies fail to do so might result in a temporary ban or worst banned for life.
