Site Introduction

Again welcome, let me start off by saying a few things about myself in case some of you do not know. My name is Marcus Harmon I am the head site Admin, I been running and designing sites for golf since the EA Tiger Woods days in 2001 and been running this site for the TGC versions since Feb, 2016 a short few months after the 1st release of TGC. I run this site like I have in the past with no advertising, no membership fees no BS. This site and the game of golf is my love and passion and it is a hobby and pleasure doing it for others in the community.

What we do on this site is host society events that are played in game and get the scores and stats from the games API data(Thank you HB Studios for letting me do this for the community!). The schedule on site and each society should match up but keep in mind it`s the in game schedule you really have to go by. At the end of each scheduled event the site will update earnings and points to those who completed the events ONLY site members will get the earnings and points!. So, to be able to use this site`s features and start collecting stats and earnings there are a few things you need to do.

A) Register on this site with the EXACT Golfer name you play in game with.
B) You need to have the current version of the game The Golf Club 2019 Featuring The PGA Tour.
C) Join 1 of the societies in game that we are hosting their events for and play their scheduled events. You can belong to 1 of the societies that we host for or all of them here are the current societies we host events for: TeeToGreens.com society, Green Keepers society and the newly added society The Players Club. Each society has different rules and policies this site does not dictate how a society runs outside of it`s own ran society events all we do is host their scores and stats. We might soon bring another society aboard to do other kind of formats but that is still in the works. The site also uses the society data to run other types of formats such as the Steam Masters and The Alt Mesh Up.

Here is how The Steams Masters and Alt Mesh Up work:

The Steams Masters runs a 2 round event by playing the FIRST round of the Green Keepers society and the FIRST round of the TeeToGreens.com society that makes up round 1 and 2 of the event on site.

Alt Mesh Up how it works.
This format is fairly new and some might get confused by how it works so I`ll post as clear as I can so you won`t have any issues. The Alt Mesh Up is a Team play format and you will be playing BOTH round of the TeeToGreens.com society. Each week the Teams will be different by the random draw the database gives yes there is a chance you might Team up with the same player through out the season but that`s fine. Anyway, how this format works example: How the scoring is done (example) you are randomly selected to team up with Dank you both play round 1 of TeeToGreens.com society. The scoring is alternating every other hole you scored Hole 1,3,5,7,9,11,13,15,17 will go as part of your teams score card. Then your partners (Dank) hole score 2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16,18 This will be Round 1 of 2 score card. Now for the 2nd round it's just the opposite your scores on the card will be from holes 2,4,6,8,10.12,14,16,18 and then your partners holes score count 1,3,5,7,9,11,13,15,17 That is the 2nd round and totals will be on a leader board together with your partner for that event.
Please keep in mind that The Steam Masters AND The Alt Mesh Up are formats created on the site and not societies these 2 formats are using the already stats that we gather from the societies and other formats will be coming to the site soon!

That`s about it any question please feel free to drop us a line in game, discord on site blog or the contact us link we`ll be happy to help.

Thank you for your time on read this hope you hit them straight and far and we`ll see you on the leader boards!
